second novel of the year yeehaw!! the title of this book randomly entered my head when i was in the bathroom and i decided to read it. suffice to say, i'm not disappointed.
despite the exposition dumps, this was a funny light read that definitely did what it came to do and succeeded. i would not mind seeing a movie adaptation of this novel. i liked the full circle moment at the end of the book w the way jamie asks qanisha to join the KPS (funny coz that's also my school's abbreviation) the same way tom did w him at the beginning of the book. btw rob sanders is an actual a-hole ew. the scientist gang were funny and i love how everyone except jamie had a doctorate and it's a sore spot for him lol. i do have to put respect on the real MVP of this novel: martin saties. without his insane aviation skills, literally every character would be dead. so yes it was a fun novel w good world-building that did not make me feel stupid even w the science. would recommend for light reading.
