i went into this movie expecting a fun unserious time, not a life lesson Imao. i genuinely thought it was gonna be a comedy. but despite what the hideous poster implies, the movie is well-shot, with a good story, and a wise message. despite the outlandish premise, the movie handles it in a serious way, and i swear, everytime someone popped it was so unexpected i would flinch. another thing i did not expect was for fourth of july by sufjan stevens to start playing haha. i think the theme of this movie is to explore death, the fear of it and grief. i told abeer it kinda gave me the same feeling as Don't Look Up, which is sort of the inevitability of death as a part of life. charlie plummer's character was so cute and nice—i loved him. twas a good movie, but the ending felt a bit rushed. the movie definitely falls a bit in the third act. anyways, that's it, that's the review. bye!
