this movie is a love letter to the stuntmen without whom movies wouldn't be as cool and exciting as they are, and it does a fairly fine job in delivering that. this isn't a serious movie—just something where u can turn ur brain off and watch for fun. while the plot and writing is definitely the weakest part of the movie, david leitch's visuals, creative cinematography, characters and clever stunts make up for most of it. the most memorable scenes for me were ryan gosling crying in the car listening to all too well by taylor swift, and at the end where he falls from the helicopter with the camera beside emily blunt and the yungblood cover of the KISS song playing. the split screen scene was also cute. it was a fine movie. just wish it had a bit more nuance or substance to it. idk something abt it felt synthetic.
