uhh ok i watched the first movie in the DCAU and this was just...mid. first of all, the animation was really good for a 2007 movie, which i wasn't expecting?? idk my standards are odd. superman is not my favourite. i'm not rlly into the goody two shoes overpowered paragon alien guy thing. i'm vry biased towards batman, but meh ig it was fine? one thing that caught me off guard was Lex's daddy kink like ew that was so weird to see. i physically cringed when lex kissed lois coz ew no. i was just waiting for it to be over and watched the last bit in 2x speed. this was just a time pass type movie. animation was good but not much substance to it. but some of the characters felt really human, the daily planet employees to be precise. AND OH MY GOD THAT CREEPY BABY WITH THE KNIFE THAT STUFF WAS STRAIGHT OUTTA A HORROR MOVIE I GOT CREEPED OUT. the movie is called Superman Doomsday but doomsday is only there for like... less than 30 minutes, the rest is cloning stuff. but that black superman suit was fire. that's the review.
