i finally read it yay!! ok lessgo thoughts: i did not feel like anything was unnecessarily shoehorned on, but the things that did put me into a lull were things that just weren't properly explained. the aeternitas thing just didn't have proper oomph behind it for me to actually care much. stuff sort of started feeling downhill after the amnesia thing, no, maybe after blondie king falls asleep. it was kinda uhh boring. BUT WE GOT THROUGH IT. i just couldn't keep my phone down.
it was the good-bye scenes between Claude and Athy that made my heart ache bro. i shed a tear during the second time.
one of the things i truly loved about this webtoon was IJEKIEL.. idk why his name looks like a keyboard smash, n e ways. that baby is so smart and cunning and cute i love him so much AHHHHHHHH. his relationship w athy is also so cute, AND LUCAS BOY YOU GOT ME SIMPING FOR A CHILD AND ATHY KABEDONNING HIM LMAOOO ok this love triangle was the first time i was unsure abt who i wanted her to end up with because i loved both of them so i was VERY glad that the ending was ambiguous. she doesn't really choose anyone, and i was able to keep my hopes for *cough polyamory*cough* (edit 2025: holy fuxx they were literally CHALLENGERS before it was a thing).
SIR FELIX AND LILY SHIP I'LL NEVER GET OFF THAT ONE THEY'RE SO CUTE TOGETHER UWUWUWUWUWUWU that Duke and Anastacius were lowkey sus even the translators shipped them. all-in-all, it's a good feel-good read.
