it is most certainly an emotional story. ending scene between charlotte and george resulted in tears slipping out of my eyes, and the cut from young brimsley happily dancing w reynolds to old brimsley dancing alone made me go from :) to :( instantly. i understand the point of this spinoff and tbh it's a perfectly well-contained story with a complex cast of characters. it's just that, unfortunately, i do not care for it very much.
