brilliant. i had a very different story in my mind's eye, but the way the narrative progresses and the little hints as to what was actually going on: i don't have words. immediately in the beginning i was thrown off a little by how young adam's parents looked, i thought they were his siblings at first. and the vampire knocking at his door line in the beginning ugh i KNEW something was amiss but i was not expecting that. only in the club scene after he takes ketamine did i come to suspect that maybe... harry wasn't real and just a ghost. and my theory solidified during the tube scene. man what a magnificent screenplay. i loved that it was so laidback and not so in your face. it was my first time watching this particular sort of movie ykwim? like a slice of life, but i guess it's also got this sort of vague paranormal element too. amazing direction and cinematography, nuanced performances, and i got an itsy bit emotional a few times. nice film.
