ykw it’s a pretty good show. i was addicted to binging the first half of season 1 during uni and just finished some ten odd episodes just now. maomao is a deranged sherlock holmes and i love her for it, but what i love more is her dynamic with jinshi. SLOWBURN ROMANCE AHHHHHHH. it’s not even really fully romantic but more queer-platonic soulmates core and i love it anyways. i’d forgotten most of the characters’ names by the time i continued watching it but i think i was able to pick them up again soon enough. it’s a fun show and i wanna continue watching the rest of it.
