immigrant experience in new york but make it an acid trip. animation was good ofc. main couple was cute too, but honestly, the plot felt a bit meh—yk not bad really, but not good either. i was awwing when they finally touched—it's almost like you could feel it through the screen. i really wish there was more substance in their connection tho. the real thing that i loved about this movie was that song by lauv COZ SIR YOU ATE. i'mma listen to that song a disgusting amount of times bet. i don't really know what else to say tbh. twas a 50% mid but 50% fine movie ykwim? there was lots of potential here but it wasn't executed properly. wouldn't really watch again. wade was such a himbo tho haha. we need more himbo men in media.
